Ryan Donato selected for Under-17 Five Nations Tournament…

Hockeyrecruits4u congratulates forward Ryan Donato, from the Dexter School in Brookline, Massachusetts for being selected to play at the Five Nations Tournament.

Twenty players who participated at the most recent USA Hockey’s Boys’ Select 16 Player Development Camp in Rochester, N.Y., have been selected for the 2012 U.S. Under-17 Select Team. The squad will compete at the 2012 Under-17 Five Nations Tournament Aug. 7-11, in Chomutov, Kadan and Klasterec, Czech Republic.

Ryan is the son of 13-year NHL veteran Ted Donato, presently the Head Coach of the Harvard Crimson. Joining him will be other Hockeyrecruits4u players Brandon Fortunato of Long Island Royals and Joey Dudek of Pinkerton Academy in New Hampshire (Recently toured BC and UNH).

    Best Forward at Rochester: John Eichel – Boston (EmJHL) – 6-2/180
    John (Eichel) is an elite player and he’s going to be the leader of the USNTDP U-17s this season. Not only was he by far the best player here but he’s a late ’96 and isn’t even eligible for the NHL Draft until 2015. He went coast-to-coast multiple times and absolutely dominated when he wanted to. John looks like a man amongst boys here and is a special player. AHR Rating: AAA
